BRISTOL, RI – According to WPRI, one person was hurt in a three-vehicle collision on Ferry Rd near Griswold Ave on October 5.
The driver of a dark SUV was heading north on Ferry Rd when they strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a vehicle. The driver then hit a stone wall and rolled onto its roof around 9 p.m.
Emergency crews extricated the SUV driver using the jaws of life and transported them to an area hospital. They treated the other two drivers for minor injuries.
The Bristol Police Department is investigating the incident.
