Brockton man, 18, fatally struck by SUV in Raynham 

RAYNHAM, MA – An 18-year-old man from Brockton lost his life after he was struck by a westbound Honda CR-V SUV on Tuesday.

Raynham police told WJARNews10 that the pedestrian-vehicle crash happened around 6:15 a.m. near the 430th block of New State Highway.

Police said the pedestrian, the Brockton man, was transported to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton, where he later died. He was not identified by name, but police confirmed that he worked at Chipotle.

Police confirmed that the driver, a 37-year-old man from Taunton, stayed at the scene. EMS took him and his passenger to a nearby hospital for a medical evaluation.

Massachusetts State Police affiliated with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Raynham Police, and the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section are actively investigating the details behind the pedestrian-vehicle crash.
