FALL RIVER, MA – A driver was injured and students suffered minor injuries after a crash involving a school bus in Fall River Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Canal Street according to the Fall River Reporter. Nine students, two adult monitors, and the driver were all occupants on the school bus.
A driver in a Honda sedan was heading in the opposite direction of the bus when the two vehicles collided on the drivers’ sides. The Honda then crashed into a parked SUV, which caused the car to roll over.
The driver in the Honda was taken to St. Anne’s Hospital with injuries. Several students complained of minor injuries, but nothing serious.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
