WEST WARWICK, RI – Two 12-year-old boys and a 13-year-old boy were taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital after they were hit by a car on Monday.
This collision took place around 1:30 p.m. at the West Warwick Avenue and Main Street intersection, according to Turnto10. The impact led the car to turn sideways and the bicycles to fall to the ground.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officials have not indicated if the motorist will be cited or charged for their involvement in this crash.
First responders said two boys suffered severe, non-life-threatening wounds, while the other boy sustained minor to moderate injuries. They have not specified their current physical conditions.
