WARWICK, RI – A 54-year-old man died Monday in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck along the interstate in Warwick, reports WPRI 12.
The accident occurred around 5 a.m. on the southbound side of I-95 between RI-37 and T.F. Green Airport Connector Road.
Police say that an 18-wheeler rear-ended a parked vehicle in the breakdown lane of the interstate.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, since identified as Patrick Albin of Fall River, died at the scene of the crash.
The truck driver did not sustain injuries in the collision.
No charges have been filed thus far.
