PROVIDENCE, RI – Authorities responded to a hit-and-run collision near Roger Williams Park early Monday morning that left a Mercedes-Benz lying on its roof, reports NBC 10 News.
Investigators say that a vehicle hit a black Mercedes-Benz on Edgewood Boulevard along the east side of the park. That impact flipped the Mercedes onto its roof.
The driver of the Mercedes was unharmed.
Officers say the other vehicle was nowhere to be found when they reached the crash site. Police are now investigating the case as a hit-and-run and working to identify the other motorist.
