WARWICK, RI – A Lincoln man stole a vehicle, kicked off a police pursuit, and finally collided with several vehicles at an intersection in Warwick on Saturday night.
WJAR reports that Jared Parenteau, a 36-year-old Lincoln resident, stole his girlfriend’s Jeep, drawing a police response. The then led officers on a chase, eventually running a red light and colliding with three other vehicles near Warwick Avenue and Post Road.
Police took Parenteau into custody. They say he had been wanted on charges of domestic violence.
We do not know if anyone was injured in the crash.
