PORTSMOUTH, RI – A woman fell off the Prudence Island ferry Monday, WPRI reports.
According to authorities, the victim fell off the ferry around 6 p.m. The waters she fell into are described as hypothermic.
It is unclear if she was wearing a life jacket at the time of the accident. It is also unknown what caused the woman to fall off the vessel.
