WRENTHAM, MA – According to WJAR, the Massachusetts State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that happened on US 1 on Friday.
A person was driving a sedan south on US 1 when they struck the rear of a pickup truck. The collision sent the sedan into the northbound lanes of US 1, where they collided head-on with another sedan.
Rescue crews transported the driver of the first sedan to an area hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the second sedan was injured, but the extent of their injuries is unknown. The pickup truck driver was not seriously hurt in the incident.
