NEWPORT, RI – A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after a crash involving a vehicle in Newport on Monday, WJARNews10 said.
A white car and a motorcycle collided on the 525th block of Broadway. The impact left the motorcyclist with unspecified injuries, who was then taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
According to the source’s photo, the impact also left moderate side damage to the car, although no injuries were reported for the driver/ car occupants.
Officials shut down Broadway for over an hour to accommodate clean-up efforts.
