PROVIDENCE, RI – A driver of a white van lost control of their vehicle, leading them to crash into the side of a home and leaving the building with minor damage Thursday.
WJAR 10 News said the single-vehicle collision happened off Knowles Street and Locust Street and warranted a response from Providence fire crews. From what first responders know so far, it appears that the van driver had struck a utility meter.
Rhode Island Energy also responded to the scene.
At this time, officials have not disclosed the structural damage of the building, have not said what caused the driver to lose control of their vehicle or have not asked if anyone was injured.
