CRANSTON, RI – A person riding a moped was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at Park Ave and Broad St on June 23, according to WJAR.
A female was driving a Jeep on Broad St and was about to turn onto Park Ave when the moped rider struck the front passenger side of the Jeep.
Rescue crews transported the moped rider to an area hospital in serious condition.
The Jeep driver was not hurt in the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Traffic Unit of the Cranston Police Department.
