WOONSOCKET, RI – A dirty bike rider was rushed to the hospital after colliding with a vehicle in Woonsocket early this morning.
According to WPRI, the crash happened along Hamlet Avenue, near the Greene Street intersection at about 7:30 a.m.
Police say the rider, a man in his 20s, was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition. He was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.
The driver of the vehicle involved was uninjured.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear at this time.
