PROVIDENCE, RI – A male pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a driver who failed to yield to on-coming traffic Saturday.
Providence police told WJAR News 10 that the driver struck the pedestrian while he was crossing an intersection on Douglas Avenue near Route 146. Police cited the driver for failing to yield to the pedestrian.
First responders did not confirm if the man had to go to the hospital after the pedestrian crash.
