EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – A driver struck the rear of a Rhode Island state trooper’s police cruiser on the Exit 2A Ramp on I-195 EB on Sunday, according to WJAR.
The trooper was sitting in his cruiser when the a rear-ended them around 12:20 a.m.
Crews transported the officer to an area hospital.
Authorities cited the driver for speeding.
