NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, MA – One person was airlifted, and another was transported by ground to a hospital after a motorcycle-pedestrian crash.
The collision happened on Route 1 near Stop & Shop, WJAR10News said. The impact left two people with serious injuries.
Local police began administering medical care to the injured occupants before fire/EMS took over. The Mansfield Fire Department’s Whole Blood Unit also pulled up to the scene. Authorities said they believe this is the unit’s first administration of whole blood since the program first launched.
