PROVIDENCE, RI – First responders were called to the scene of a collision on I-195 in East Providence this morning, Rhode Island DoT reports.
The accident happened at about 7:53 a.m. along the westbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to RI-103.

The events surrounding the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, at least one right lane was closed, causing significant traffic delays in the area for some time afterward.
