PROVIDENCE, RI – Traffic delays on I-195 were reported following a crash in downtown Providence this afternoon, Rhode Island DoT reports.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 1A to Point Street.

The cause of the crash, and the number of vehicles involved, are unclear at this time. However, at least one lane was closed, causing significant delays in the area.
