PROVIDENCE COUNTY, RI – Authorities were called to the scene of a crash late Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 95 near Providence Place Mall, according to RIDOTNews.
Officials say the incident occurred on the northbound side of the highway, at Exit 37D toward State Street in central Providence. It was first recorded by RIDOT at 4:46 p.m.
Details are limited, but the scene had the right lane closed in the aftermath. By 5:00 p.m., crews had cleared the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to traffic.
