NORWOOD, MA – A 51-year-old woman died over the weekend in an accident involving a snow plow in Norfolk County, reports First Alert 6.
The incident occurred Sunday in the parking lot of the Norwood Central commuter rail stop on Broadway Street between Guild Street and East Hoyle Street.
Police say that Noriko Rapley and her husband were walking through the parking lot when a snow plow reversed and hit them.
Noriko Rapley sustained fatal injuries.
Medics transported the husband to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the snow plow stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
A full investigation is underway.
