Man, 25, hospitalized after pedestrian crash in North Providence 

NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI – A 25-year-old man was hospitalized following a pedestrian crash that happened on the 2008th block of Mineral Spring Avenue last Friday, July 25. 

The 25-year-old man was struck by the driver after 9:30 p.m., according to The Valley Breeze. The male pedestrian sustained a head injury and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. 

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No formal criminal charges have been announced at this time. 

Police shut down the area of Mineral Spring toward Centredale for the clean-up process. During the closures, commuters were asked to use North Howard Avenue as an alternative route.
