NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI – A single rollover collision sent three children to Hasbro Children’s Hospital and ended in a DUI driver’s arrest Sunday.
The collision happened on Orlando Drive, WPRI said. Providence Police suspect the DUI driver was speeding when his car overturned.
Officers identified the intoxicated motorist as Glen Duarte, 34, a North Providence local, and confirmed the children were traveling inside Duarte’s vehicle.
Authorities did not disclose Duarte’s specific charges or have released other information at this time.
