NEW BEDFORD, MA – Two teenagers were killed and another was hospitalized in a crash on Route 140 early Saturday morning, WJAR reports.
According to authorities, the accident occurred in the southern lanes of Route 140 around 2 am. Police responded to the scene to find two victims ejected from the vehicle.
One of the victims, a 17-year-old from West Yarmouth, was pronounced dead on the scene. The other, a 15-year-old girl, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead not long after.
The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old from Dartmouth, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
