WESTPORT, MA – A driver crashed into a deer along Route 88, resulting in three people going to the hospital Friday morning.
WLNE reports that the driver’s view was obstructed by the vehicle’s hood after the initial collision. The vehicle came to rest off of the roadway after temporarily veering into the opposite lane.
Three occupants in the vehicle were hospitalized and treated for minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
