MILFORD, MA – One person sustained injuries Sunday in a two-vehicle collision that happened in southeast Worcester County, reports 10 WJAR.
The accident happened just before 3 a.m. at MA-16, or Main Street, and South Main Street in the city of Milford, about five miles northwest of Bellingham.
Police say that a Chevy pickup truck collided with a Nissan Altima in the intersection when the driver of the Chevy failed to heed a red light.
Medics transported the driver of the Nissan to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
Authorities issued a citation to the 18-year-old driver of the Chevy.
A full investigation is underway.
