LINCOLN, RI – Drivers faced delays along the highway in northeast Providence County Tuesday following a two-vehicle collision, reports 10 WJAR.
The accident occurred at night on the northbound side of the Eddie Dowling Highway, or RI-146, near Exit 5 in the city of Lincoln. This is about seven miles northwest of Pawtucket.
Police say that the crash involved a red sedan and a silver pickup truck. While the cause of the crash hasn’t yet been determined, photos depict the red sedan rolled onto its side and the pickup with heavy damage to the front end.
It’s not yet clear if anyone sustained injuries in the accident or required hospitalization.
