EAST FALMOUTH, MA – Emergency crews responded early Sunday to an injury crash along the highway in southwest Barnstable County, reports WCVB 5.
The single-vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of MA-151 and Ashumet Road in East Falmouth.
Police say aren’t yet sure what caused the collision. They say that shortly after impact, the vehicle ignited.
Medics transported the driver to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
There were no passengers in the car at the time of the accident.
