WEST BRIDGEWATER, MA – According to WJAR, a driver fatally collided with another vehicle on MA 24 Monday.
Juan Leonardo Parra Altamirano, 33, collided with a car driven by Erpharo Gilbert, 46. The collision forced Gilbert’s vehicle to slam into a concrete barrier. The driver of a Ford Maverick then hit Gilbert’s car. Gilbert’s vehicle then caught on fire.
Rescue crews pronounced Gilbert dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities charged Parra Altamirano with leaving the scene of a crash that caused property damage, leaving the scene of a crash that caused personal injury resulting in death, and leaving the scene of a crash that caused personal injury.
