CRANSTON, RI – At least one person sustained injuries Monday in a multi-car collision in southeast Providence County, reports 10 WJAR.
The accident occurred just before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Eldridge Street and Pontiac Avenue in Cranston, which is about six miles southwest of Providence.
Police haven’t shared any details about the crash except to say that three vehicles were involved.
It’s not yet clear know many people may have been hurt in the accident and if any of them required hospitalization for their injuries.
Officials closed roads in the area of the crash while emergency teams worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
