CRANSTON, RI – A cyclist sustained injuries earlier this month in a crash involving an alleged drunk driver on the east side of Cranston, reports 10 WJAR.
The accident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on Friday, October 3rd, at the intersection of Park Avenue and Route 10, which is just north of Fenner Pond and east of I-95.
Police say that a Hyundai SUV stuck a bicyclist in the crosswalk at the intersection.
The cyclist sustained non-critical injuries and did not go to the hospital via ambulance.
The driver showed signs of intoxication was arrested at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
