BOSTON, MA – Boston police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that injured one person late Friday morning, reports WCVB 5.
The auto-pedestrian crash occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Southampton Street and Bradston Street in Roxbury.
Police say that an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian in the intersection. It’s unclear if the victim was using a designated crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash did not stop to render aid or to speak with authorities.
A full investigation is underway.
