BERKELEY, MA – A person driving a car hit an unoccupied and parked work truck on Route 24 South on Tuesday, which resulted in their death.
This collision took place around 1 p.m., according to WJAR News Channel 10. Massachusetts Department of Transportation shut down all lanes to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation period but later reopened at least one lane to allow for the continued flow of traffic.
State Police started an investigation and have not revealed the events leading to this crash or released the victim’s identity.
