Vehicle crashes into house on Page St in Avon, injuring 2

AVON, MA – Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning after a car crashed into a home in eastern Norfolk County, reports WHDH 7.

The accident occurred shortly after midnight on Page Street in the city of Avon, about 20 miles south of Boston.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a driver lost control of their vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a phone pole, a home, and a parked vehicle.

Medics transported the driver and passenger to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nobody inside the home sustained injuries.

Authorities say the driver may face charges in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
