ATTLEBORO, MA – Multiple injuries have been reported in connection to a two-vehicle collision that happened early Thursday evening in Attleboro.
According to WPRI 12, the accident occurred around 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Read Street at West Street in Attleboro, which is about eight miles northeast of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the crash or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted. They say that extrication measures were taken to rescue one person who became entrapped in their vehicle.
Medics transported a man, a teen girl, and a woman to area hospitals with unspecified injuries.
Officials closed Read Street for just under an hour while crews assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.
