ATTLEBORO, MA – One person sustained injuries Sunday in a multi-vehicle crash along the interstate in northwest Bristol County, reports WPRI 12.
The accident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on I-95 near Newport Avenue in South Attleboro, which is about 13 miles northeast of Providence.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the accident, which they say involved three vehicles. The impact of the crash damaged all three cars and caused one of the vehicles to roll.
Medics attended to one person at the scene for unspecified injuries. The victim declined hospitalization.
Motorists faced a partial closure of I-95 in the area of the crash until around 3 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
