ATTLEBORO, MA – EMS crews transported a driver to Rhode Island Hospital after their car crashed and overturned on South Main Street Monday.
Local firefighters told WJAR News 10 that the rollover crash happened after the driver collided with a utility pole. The impact caused the red car to flip over and land on its roof. The driver was temporarily pinned or entrapped and was able to extricate themself with help from good Samaritans.
The driver is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the rollover crash after 8 a.m. and closed off a section of the road to remove the impacted vehicle and damaged utility pole.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the details that led to the collision.
