ATTLEBORO, MA ā An SUV driver slammed into a cannabis dispensary building, hitting a 42-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, sending both of them to a hospital Thursday.Ā
Attleboro Police told Turnto10 that the driver of the red Nissan Pathfinder, a 62-year-old woman, slammed into the Zahara Cannabis Dispensary – Attleboro establishment around 1:30 p.m., and collided with the man, who was inside the store, and a woman, who was outside the business.Ā
An ambulance rushed the woman to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where she is receiving treatment for lower head and back lacerations. Another ambulance transported the man to Rhode Island Hospital, where he is recovering from arm and ankle wounds.Ā
Authorities summoned a building inspector to the scene to also confirm whether the buildingās structural integrity had been compromised.Ā
Police launched an investigation and have not shared additional information.Ā
