PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rhode Island Department of Transportation reported a collision on eastbound I-195 at the exit for US 44 E to Taunton this afternoon.

The collision happened at about 4:45 p.m. and likely affected rush hour commuters. It was eventually cleared about 45 minutes later.
