CHARLESTOWN, RI – On Tuesday, a 23-year-old man was charged with DUI and reckless driving in connection with a crash in June involving a Charlestown police officer.
The crash occurred off Old Post Road and Falcone Lane, according to WJAR10News. Body camera footage shows the young male driver, later identified as Jonathan Vasquez, from Johnston, crashing into the police cruiser.
It’s not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
