Foster man injured in Tuesday morning Burrillville crash on Broncos Highway

BURRILLVILLE, RI – A 70-year-old Foster man was injured in a crash Tuesday morning on Broncos Highway near Lapham Farm Road in Burrillville, reports NBC 10 News.

Police responded to the scene at about 11:18 a.m. and found a Nissan Frontier on its side off the highway. Authorities said the driver was trapped inside the vehicle.

Rescuers removed the man from the truck and took him to Rhode Island Hospital. Police have not released his name or details about his injuries.

Investigators believe the driver left the northbound lane and came to a stop on the southbound shoulder. There have been no reports of what might have caused the vehicle to leave the road. Officials continue to investigate the crash.
