PAWTUCKET, RI – A two-vehicle crash in east central Providence County injured at least one person Friday morning, reports 10 WJAR.
Around 12:30 a.m., authorities were called to an injury accident at the intersection of Lonsdale Avenue and Lawn Avenue in Pawtucket, about six miles northeast of Providence.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the collision or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
Medics transported one person to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
A wrecker responded to the scene and towed one of the vehicles from the site.
Officials charged one of the drivers for having an unregistered vehicle; it’s unclear if anyone involved in the crash will face additional charges.
