NEEDHAM, MA – Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle injury crash along the interstate in Norfolk County on Monday, reports NBC 10 Boston.
Sometime after 6 p.m., EMS and fire officials were called to an accident involving at least two vehicles on I-95, or the Yankee Division Highway, just north of Kendrick Street in the city of Needham.
The preliminary investigation is still underway to determine the cause of the collision and the manner in which the vehicles impacted.
Two people involved in the crash required hospitalization for injuries of unknown severity.
The accident likely caused delays along I-95 while teams helped the victims and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
