WOONSOCKET, RI – A toddler lost his life to a deadly bicycle collision in Woonsocket Thursday night, WJAR News 10 reports.
The 3-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle, was struck by a driver at the intersection of Mason Street and 10th Avenue. EMS crews hurried to the scene and transported the toddler to Landmark Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Woonsocket police said the driver, a 25-year-old man, remained at the scene. The driver cooperated with investigators. At this time, it’s unclear if he will face charges.
