Woman sent to trauma center, dog killed in pedestrian-car crash in Fall RiverĀ 

FALL RIVER, MA – A woman was taken to a trauma center, and her dog was killed as a result of a pedestrian-car crash in Fall River on Monday.Ā 

A woman and her dog were walking on Brayton Avenue when they were struck by a car, according to WJAR10News.Ā 

The dog succumbed to their injuries, while the woman was left in critical condition.Ā 

Debbie Fougere told the source that she often passes through the area and said she often sees speedy drivers.Ā 

Police have not said whether the driver was speeding, stopped, or could face charges.Ā 

Police are working to determine whether the woman and her dog were using a crosswalk and are working to pinpoint the events leading up to the collision.Ā
