PROVIDENCE, RI – A man was injured as a result of a pedestrian-vehicle collision in Providence on Monday, WJARNews10 said.
Preliminary details from Providence Police reveal the man was walking on Atwells Avenue when he was struck by a car.
The male pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to a hospital for medical evaluation.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police have not announced any citations and are working to determine the cause of the crash.
