Update: Juvenile driver responsible for DUI crash with police cruisers 

PROVIDENCE, RI – According to new information from Go Local Prov News, an intoxicated minor was responsible for crashing into two cruisers on Route 10 South Monday. 

The collision took place around 10:15 p.m. along Union Avenue. New details reveal that the juvenile driver rear-ended one Rhode Island State cruiser. The first cruiser was pushed forward and then struck the second patrol car. 

The two minors with the juvenile motorist were sent to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and one police officer was taken to another local hospital. 

The responsible driver was charged with the following: “Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor (BAC Unknown), Reckless Driving, and Driving to Endanger Resulting in Physical Injury.”
