PROVIDENCE, RI – A man was arraigned Thursday for striking two police cruisers on US 6 while impaired on Jan. 20, according to WJAR.
The two cruisers were waiting for DOT to help clear road debris from an earlier wreck when Joseph Giudici, 40, allegedly hit one cruiser in the front and another in the back.
Authorities believed Giudici was impaired and conducted a blood alcohol test. They charged Giudici with two counts of driving to endanger resulting injury, DUI of liquor, and reckless driving.
A judge gave Giudici a $4,000 bond. Giudici is scheduled for pre-arraignment on May 13.
