WARWICK, RI – A 21-year-old man operating a motorcycle is recovering from critical wounds after being hit by a left-turning driver at West Shore Road and Moccasin Drive Wednesday.
This collision occurred in the evening, and the impact of this collision caused the motorcyclist to strike the passenger side of the driver’s side of the car, according to WPRI.
First responders took the man and the driver, a 61-year-old woman, to a hospital. While the man remains in critical condition, the woman is in stable condition.
Police are working to pinpoint the details behind this wreck. While much isn’t known now, officers have, however, been able to confirm that alcohol was not a contributing factor in Wednesday’s crash.
No pending criminal charges were announced.
