WARWICK, RI – A man was struck and killed by a car in Warwick Thursday evening reports WPRI.
The 77-year-old man was crossing Centerville Road when a driver struck him.
First responders found the man unconscious in the roadway and rushed him to Rhode Island Hospital where he died.
The 24-year-old driver who struck the man remained on the scene and spoke with authorities.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
