JAMESTOWN, RI – Two people were hurt when a RIPTA driver crashed near North Rd and I-138 on Saturday, according to WJAR.
The RIPTA bus driver had a medical emergency while operating the bus and wrecked around 7:33 p.m. The bus came to rest on the east side of North Rd.
Rescue crews transported the driver and the sole passenger to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The Jamestown Police Department is investigating the incident.
